| The people of The Clanranald Trust are a group of individuals dedicated to reviving Scottish Culture and Heritage. Our aim is to present a true recreation of our past, striving to provide a fitting testimony to our ancestors. The Clanranald Trust have long term aims and ideas which will require dedication and commitment for many years to come and we need all the help we can gather. We wish to secure support both in terms of finance and personal involvement. If you believe that you can be of assistance to any of the following aims, please contact us. From our base in Kincardine we operate activities such as: Supplying entertainment to corporate organisations - Theme room dressing
- Supply of arts and crafts
- Undertaking guided tours and providing ambush scenarios
- Providing professional film extras and close combat fight choreography to the Film and TV industry
- Providing Guards of Honour and Torch processions
- Video and photographic promotional work
- Linking with other like minded groups to revive the traditions once lost
- Carrying out fight displays in period dress for public displays
- Scottish weapons training.

There are future plans to expand the activities of the Clanranald Trust. These plans will take time, but with the help of our volunteers we shall succeed. Future plans include: - Expanding our current educational team from one to two full-time employees; providing schools and communities with real access to Scottish Culture and History
- Offering involvement and support in the future of the Clanranald seat
- Acquiring relics and items linked to Clanranald in particular and Scottish Clans in general and putting them on public display
- Establishing a research centre
The Clanranald Trust has already realised many of its long term objectives, which include: - Establishing a permanent site for the DunCarron Project
- Increasing our educational visits, delivering and raising awareness of Scottish heritage
- Expanding the Film / TV work, recently completing the Touchstone Pictures Epic 'King Arthur'
- Purchasing a permanent premises in Kincardine to build our prop hire and corporate services
All these achievements have only been realised with much effort and dedication of all the volunteers of the Clanranald Trust, and many other like-minded groups and individuals over the years! |      |
