With over 9 years of Educational Presentation Experience. The Clanranald Trust is proud to continue delivering our distinctive and unique services. Every visit can be tailored to individual or group requirements.

Pre visit packs will be available soon! Your pupils will actively participate by:

• Exploring and handling historical artefacts
• Witness short presentations by period characters involving a warm up activity
• Presentations allow pupils to enjoy an immediate face to face physical presence from our past
• Hand made period costumes and footwear from your chosen era provided for examination
• Explainations on how they where made and worn
• Pupils can be dressed in period costume from the topical period

Pupils have the rare opportunity to handle our wide and varied range of safe authentic Helmets, Swords, Spears, Arrowheads, Armour, Shields...etc

• Demonstrations of tools and implements used in the period, from blacksmiths to tanners
• Cooking equipment including foodstuff
• Examples of recycling and eating methods demonstrated
• Witness a combat display by members of our international combat team
• Pupils can experience full military training, They will obey orders and form various battle formations from Roman Tortoises to Highland Charges!
• Historical Discussions
• From the moving issues and relationships created from our visit Pupils are encouraged to demonstrate their understanding by asking direct questions to the characters and challenge historical facts
