DunCarron Medieval Village is frozen solid! In a way which is great as it means we can walk, crunching the frost beneath our feet all over the site, rather than swim in liquid mud. Hoorah! We have planked the short section of the chieftains palisade today, de-barked even more logs and watch Iain our trusty blacksmith build a very rude-looking anvil but besides this all is looking and feeling more and more realistic within DunCarron. In the workshops the longhouse frames are still underway and being constructed at a healthy pace. Not long now until the masses flood through the gatehouses with sheer envy! Keep it up crew!
